Nicholas Donis, Silver Knights 

General Manager/ Catcher Specialist

12 years of Service to Our Lady of Sorrows Sports and Arts Kids League, Nicholas Donis has been asset to the league. Since 1999 he was the founding Manager of the Lady Yankees, Girls Softball Team. Under his direction the team was sub division champs. In 2005 Nicholas took over the Saints, a little league team after the manager had left. He then left the Saints and the Lady Yankees in 2006 where he started a new Pee-Wee division team now known as the Silver Knights. In its first year made it to the second round of the playoffs, where they played hard against the Pee-Wee division champs. And in 2008 the Silver Knights made 3rd place and made it to the second round of the playoffs. 

As an advocate for Early Childhood Education and as a Preschool Teacher Nicholas, take the early childhood approach to promote confidence and self esteem through baseball. He teaches the children that winning is not important; they are here to learn and have fun. As long as they try their best that is all that matters.
